About Randy

I took my first scuba breath in 1962 in a quarry near Huntsville, Texas and was hooked.

After a time away from diving I realized it was a passion I could not live without so returned and got my instructor certification.

I hold a Master Degree in Education—my desire to introduce others to the world of scuba led me to become a divemaster and then an instructor. Presently I am a NAUI Instructor Trainer and PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer and have been training students for more years than I care to admit.

 Randy

I am also an Emergency First Aid Instructor and hold speciality credentials in Underwater Navigation, Deep Diving, Wreck Diving, Enriched Air (Nitrox), Videography, and many others.

My philosophy is that all students can learn to dive if given the right environment and a patient, competent instructor. As a result I keep my classes small so you get the individual attention you deserve. This allows you plenty of time to practice the necessary safety skills and get comfortable underwater. I want your first open water scuba experience to be low on stress and full of fun. Your first day of vacation can then be spent diving and not still trying to get accustomed to new skills and a new environment. After all, that’s why you got certified in the first place.

If you would like to know more, please feel free to call or email me to discuss your scuba training.
